James Bevins is a graduate student in the Nuclear Engineering Department.  He received a B.S. and M.S in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee and Air Force Institute of Technology, respectively.  He is currently a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow working in the Neutronics research group at the University of California Berkeley.  His research interests include transport methodologies, radiation and nuclear effects/ phenomenologies, detection technologies with non-proliferation and national security applications, and nuclear weapons and non-proliferation policies.
