Michael Santos is a first year undergraduate pursuing a degree in physics at UC Berkeley. His academic interests include include the study of gravitational waves and nuclear physics. Michael is in the UC Berkeley NROTC unit, and upon graduation, he intends to pilot in the US Navy as a commissioned officer. Previously, Michael attended Saint Charles East High School in Saint Charles, Illinois, where he was an Eagle scout and violinist. Outside of school, Michael enjoys running, listening to music, and playing with his dog, Coco.
