Austin Mullen is a fourth-year PhD student in Nuclear Engineering, pursuing minors in Policy and Particle Physics, at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his undergraduate degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is performing research, as part of the WATCHMAN Collaboration, into long-range monitoring of nuclear reactors using antineutrinos for nonproliferation purposes. His interests more generally include nuclear nonproliferation and arms control.
