Kortney Cooper
Kortney Cooper is a fourth year graduate student in the Chemistry Department at Michigan State University. She received a BS in Chemistry from Troy University. Currently, she is working with Dr. David Morrissey in the Beam Thermalization group at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory on the characterization and optimization of a large volume linear gas cell. Her research interests include beam thermalization, nuclear and chemical weapons and policies, and detection technologies with non-proliferation and national security applications.
