NPWG@MSU provides engineering/technical science and social science/humanities students with opportunities to learn about pressing issues in nuclear security and conduct research on topics at the intersection of nuclear science and security policy.

Development of NPWG@MSU is led by Kalee Hammerton, a graduate student in Radiochemistry. She recently completed the Public Policy and Nuclear Threats Boot Camp in Summer 2014 as an NSSC student and continues to pursue her interest in nuclear security policy issues as the 2014-2015 Nuclear Science and Security Consortium Nuclear Security Policy Fellow.
