Josh Rothman is an Active Duty Naval Officer qualified in submarine warfare and an adjunct assistant professor in the Naval Science Department of UC Berkeley. He double-majored in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering during his undergraduate education at the Webb Institute, and most recently completed a four-year tour aboard the nuclear fast-attack submarine USS Mississippi, where he oversaw all reactor instrumentation testing and maintenance. Originally from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Josh enjoys anything involving the ocean or his two dogs, Nala and Mowgli.
