Brendan Potter served for ten years on active duty in the Marine Corps between the Marine Raider, Marine Recon, and Force Recon communities. He is currently a graduate student in the Master of International Studies program at North Carolina State University. He holds a B.S in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis from Norwich University. His primary area of research includes the broad challenges associated with the re-emergence of Great Power competition.
