NPWG Hosts Dr. Naomi Egel
NPWG hosts Dr. Naomi Egel for a lecture on the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and small state contestation of the nuclear order.
Naomi Egel is an NPWG alum and an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Affairs at the University of Georgia. Her research explores questions related to the politics of global governance and nuclear weapons, especially international efforts to regulate weapons. Previously, Dr. Egel was a MacArthur Nuclear Security Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC), a Hans J. Morgenthau (nonresident) fellow at the University of Notre Dame, a visiting fellow at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland, and the inaugural Janne Nolan Nuclear Security Visiting Fellow at the Truman Center for National Policy.
