Assistant Secretary Frank Rose on the International Partnership for Nuclear Disarmament Verification
The Nuclear Policy Working Group, in partnership with the Nuclear Science and Security Consortium, the Department of Nuclear Engineering, and the Goldman School of Public Policy, is pleased to welcome Assistant Secretary Frank Rose to the UC Berkeley campus. A/S Rose will discuss an exciting new initiative to develop tools and technologies in the quest to reduce and eliminate nuclear weapons - the International Partnership for Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV).
Mr. Rose currently serves as the Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance. He was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on December 16, 2014. In this position, he is responsible for advising the Secretary of State on a wide variety of arms control, strategic policy, verification, and compliance issues.
