EVENT DESCRIPTION:

The Public Policy & Nuclear Threats boot camps address important issues in nuclear policy while providing an understanding of the scientific foundations that inform them. The program aims to give participants the necessary knowledge and analytic tools to contribute to the debate on future nuclear policy.The Public Policy & Nuclear Threats boot camp is a multidisciplinary approach to bridging science and public policy. Join professionals, PhD students, and postdocs for 10 days of lectures, discussion, and simulation exercises with nuclear science and policy experts from academia, national labs, government, and international organizations.

2014 PPNT Cohort

Participants will learn from distinguished researchers, academics, policy officials, and operational specialists from leading universities, national laboratories, the International Atomic Energy Agency, and federal government agencies dealing with nuclear threats, detection sciences, nonproliferation strategies, energy policy, and other nuclear issues.
