I am a junior studying physics with an interest in particle physics and astrophysics. I have become acutely aware of the need for informed science policies, particularly in areas of: nuclear energy and security, global threats and challenges, climate change, public and private research including large scale science projects. Due to my physics background I find all the aforementioned areas of science policy to be vitally important and I have been drawn to public policy as a way to create better policies.
